SHINY HAPPY PEOPLE - SUNDAY STAMPER (W 218)

Hello to my blogging friends out there.  Having a bit of a week this week, so I am only just posting my entry for Hels' Sunday Stamper Challenge.   I don't want to go into it right now - nothing too major, just upsetting - so I will keep this short.

Never having tried this before I thought I would keep it simple, but I loved diecutting the images out of metal foil. I blobbed a little alcohol ink over the diecuts in the middle of the horizontal and vertical lines just to mess them a little to match the stamp.  Bless my hubby, he was photographing the card for me and came rushing in thinking that he had smudged the ink - I could see the relief on his face when I said it was supposed to have the 'smudgy' effect.

Ingredients:

Lace Doily Motif
Moroccan Motif/Accent
Scalloped Labels One
Regal M-Bossibility folder
Dusty Concord Distress Ink
Milk card from Sue Wilson's card pack
Lilac Bazzill Bling card
Sheena Douglass Sentiment stamp

As I said above, I am entering this in Hels' Shiny Happy People Challenge - if I have done the link correctly.

Hugs to you all - sorry I haven't been by for a day or three - will be back shortly.

Thanks for dropping in.

SUE

  9. Thanks for coming by to see me, Sue, which brought me here. Thanks for the OH info (duh!) and the tip about not overdoing the glue on the pressed flowers.

Your card is brilliant. I'll have to give it a go, cutting the dies out of foil. Love it!!

  11. Hi Sue,
Another pretty card. I love the use of the inks on the foil to give it a mottled effect. You must forgive hubby for his mistake, at least he was honest by telling you, even if he hadn't really done anything. What a sweetheart he is.
    Hugs Linda
