OSAAT DT - CHALLENGE NO 231 - ANYTHING GOES WITH BIRTHDAYS

Good afternoon everyone - today is the start of a new Challenge from One Stitch at a Time and the theme is 'Anything Goes with Birthdays'.    I do hope you can enter this one, there's a great prize for the winner - just check out the pic further down in my blog.  'Scuse the short post - again - I bent over to dry my hair 'upside down' (as per my hairdressers instructions) and decided to do a flexing exercise whilst I was bent over (stop laughing Sue J) and felt something akin to an electric shock or the pinging of an elastic band go across my back and now I am walking as if I have a problem in the 'apple catcher' department.    Cooo it's painful but 'nuff said - at least I've started 2015 with a bloomin' big bang!

I was quite pleased with how the balloons turned out until I put the glaze on them - could I get those bubbles out ... could I heck!!  Oh well I'm sure the person who is going to receive this will forgive me!!!

I'm orf now to find a blue brick and some goose grease to rub on my back - I'm sure it will help as it is a well known cure all!  :o)

Take care and keep warm - it's a tad nippy around these parts at the moment.

Big hugs to you

OSAAT DT - CHALLENGE NO 230 - ANYTHING GOES WITH THE LOVE!

Good afternoon friends and bloggers out there I hope you are all well - or at least getting better if you have been poorly.  I'm glad January is over 'cos I hadn't been to the GP in three years and during January I was in and out of her surgery like a fiddler's elbow!  Had good news and bad news, Saturday morning I had to go to a special Breast Screening appointment but was given the news that I'm fine and that was one heck of a relief.  The bad news is that I am diabetic and didn't even know!  Mind you this was a kick up the bum that I needed to change my eating habits - vastly - so onwards and upwards with that one.  Oh and the maestro hasn't escaped unscathed either, he has had problems with his knees and shoulders and has to go for x-rays the week after next.   So we both seem to be crumbling gently for our ages!  :)   Please don't think I'm grumbling 'cos I'm not - just telling it how it is -  things could be loooaaads worse.

Anyway, enough waffling and wittering, this fortnight the theme for the OSAAT challenge is Anything Goes with the lurve - ooops - love.  So I chose a gorgeous digi from My Heart Pieces here at the Stitchy Bear Digi Outlet, I thought it would be lovely for a Valentine card.  Might even send it to the maestro - even if he has taken this pic!   Bless.

I hope you like this one - there's lots of hearts on there and I found the 'hearty' paper in my stash - which was lucky!  This is a corker of an embossing folder and I loved using it.  Being so close to Valentine's Day I'm sure you will be making one - or two! - cards so why not enter them into our Challenge!

There's a wonderful prize package to be won - not only digi images but paper too!
