DOGS ARE FOR LIFE!!

Hi there to all my blog friends and also to my new followers, your comments have been truly wonderful and I am so glad you like my efforts.

I am not posting a card right now - although (wait for it) I have an idea buzzing around my bonce for Hels Sunday Stamper challenge!!! Yes that's right, it does feel as if my constipation of the brain has gone - well at least for half an hour!

I am watching Hels at the moment but she is having to wait for the presenter to stop waffling (grrrrr) this really gets my goat.

Anyway - I just wanted to post this note on my blog - Linda from Creative Harmony has asked her followers to bob it on their blogs if they agree with the sentiment.  I really do believe in this whole-heartedly.

A dog's life

The longstanding campaign aims to raise awareness of the consequences of treating dogs as gifts or toys. Every year hundreds of thousands of children plead for the latest fad or top toy on the market, only to discard them a few weeks after Christmas when the novelty wears off. Unfortunately, the same perception is also apparent with dogs. We are continually seeking to change this.
"A dog is for life, not just for Christmas".
If you agree...copy and paste this into your blog....thank you

Linda xx

Thank you so much for stopping by.

Big hugs to you all.

SUE

  1. Whole heartedly agree with Linda Sue, kind of you to put it on your blog.
Know what you mean about the presenters, they do go on a bit sometimes, it's so annoying.
Hope you have enjoyed your Sunday and hope you don't mind me following you as a non-blogger but so appreciate the inspiration all you talented bloggers give.
Keep the buzzing going lol! Love Christine H xx

    1. Thanks Christine - the presenter carried on as well - didn't shut up at all. I was sitting cussing at my TV lol! I am thrilled that you are following me - it doesn't matter whether you have your own blog or not (you never know it might set you off like it did me). I've said before that it has given me confidence so I am really chuffed that you are a follower. The buzzing is materialising this afternoon - yippee!

      Big hugs to you

  2. Hi Sue,
I agree with Linda to. Not sure what to do to put it up on my blog it's still a mine field to me. Just managing the basics at the moment. Still haven't designed it properly. Linda has been so helpful she sure is a very kind lady. In all the trouble I was having with it I forgot to thank her on the blog, but that will be sorted tomorrow. Have a great crafty rest of the day.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

  3. Thank you so much for posting this Sue. It is very close to my heart as I have seen so many dogs just disgarded after a few weeks of 'playing' and it breaks my heart to see them bundled off. A neighbour of mine has had 3 dogs and just gotten rid of them for no apparent reason. Dogs are good friends but they are effected by constant change and don't like not knowing where home is.
Anyway, I'll get off my soapbox now. Thank you again.
    Biggest hugs Linda xx
