CRAFTY CALENDAR JULY CHALLENGE - SUMMERTIME FUN

Oh heck - I am such a divvy - I almost forgot to post my latest DT card for my new Challenge Blog!  I have been making a card for my next door neighbour's dad who was 70 two days before my birthday and I have struggled with this one big time.  Anyway enough of that one for now, I will be posting it later on. 

So, onto today's card, this is my DT 'creation' and the theme for this Crafty Calendar month is Summertime Fun, I thought of Wimbledon (oops - now that's interesting Mr Cherokee - perhaps I shouldn't have)!    Well it does include strawberries and lovely cool drinkies!  Some time ago I bought a 'bundle' of digis from a shop called Pollycraft, (I think it was closing down), and this was amongst them.  I didn't want him in tennis whites because I love colouring so this one is really really bright!  The other digis are from colouring pages on t'internet.

As I mentioned earlier, the theme for the Crafty Calendar Challenge is Summertime Fun and we have been sponsored by a company called Squiggle Fly - they are offering a prize of 3 digis to the winner.  I am sure that you are into the feel of summer now so I would love to see your cards in the challenge.

I hope you like this one, I was never keen on tennis myself - school had a lot to do with it, especially when we had to make our own tennis skirts in Needlework ....... all those bloomin' pleats!  I can still see it now, as if it were yesterday.  

Well, I must stop waffling 'cos I am hoping to go out for lunch later ... I shall say this only wunce .. today is my birthday and although I no longer acknowledge me age I might just celebrate with half a shandy!
