OSAAT DT CARD - CHALLENGE NO 212 - USE A DIGI

Good afternoon to you all and thank you so much for the lovely comments on my last card, I'm so glad you liked it.  I am just posting my DT card for the OSAAT Challenge No 212, the theme is 'Use a digi'.  This digi was chosen by my teamie Jennie and is by Alipeeps on the Stitchy Bear Digi Outlet site (here).

Must admit, I had a teeny weeny panic when I saw this one - simply because it was just head and neck!!!  You know I am not good at colouring hair and I really worried, however I think the detail around my colouring takes the eye away from my bad bits - lol!!!  I made two very small slits in her shoulder area and then threaded some black tulle through to form a 'scarf' effect.  I threaded a small jump ring onto the tulle and added a tiny red heart just underneath.

Ingredients

7" x 7" White Card Blank - Anna Marie Designs
Digi - 'Miss Peony' by Ali Peeps at Stitchy Bear Digi Outlet
Basal Blush Pink Card - Create and Craft
Le Tres Chic 12" x 12" stack - DCWV
Oval Pierced Stax dies - Die-Namics Dies
Fern Trio dies - Creative Expressions Dies
Flexmarkers
Lace, tulle and gems - own stash
Flowers - WOC

I hope you like this one, I would love it if you entered Challenge no 212 over on OSAAT, all you need to do is make a card using a digi stamp.  If you use a digi from our Outlet you could win 7 digis that the team used in challenge no 210.  There is still a prize if you use a digi from another company so think on!!!

Thought I would let you know about the decorating versus Blossom saga - you might remember that the little madam had been 'vertical scratching' the walls on the staircase at night and would not stop downstairs when we went to bed,  although she was getting better ...... until Graham started decorating the dining room that is.  I was worried about the smell from the paint getting on her chest (aaaaahhh) so I/we agreed to leave the door open - for her safety mainly.  Oh, just before the decorating started in the dining room,  I had ordered two of those plug in room smelly things 'cos I thought they might help, fortunately they arrived that morning.

I plugged them in and hoped for the best. ..... well, touch wood, the scratching has stopped, she seems to like the wallpaper and colours we have chosen and I cannot thank Feliway enough for working their magic (albeit magic to the value of forty bloomin' quid!!!!!) ..... even if we have to put up with her walking around as if she has had a large dose of CAT VALIUM, has a goofy grin on her chops and has just put down a large spliff!!!  Oh and when she miaows she's a bit like a cross between Ozzie Osbourne and Mick Jagger talking.  She is sooooo laid back and I can now turn the smellies off during the day and put them on at night, so I think the £40 was well spent.

That's enough of Blossom's Blog for the time being - she's on the garden at the moment with her husband - probably telling him about her 'experiences' with the big pink elephant she saw on the landing!  I really must get a new dressing gown!!!!!  I was going to say 'get Graham' and then I thought about it - ROFL!!!

Lots of big hugs to you all, enjoy your Sunday afternoon and I hope you are all well - or getting there!

  1. I'm sure you can get done by the RSPCA for introducing your pets to hard drugs ... lol!

I love the tulle scarf Sue, it looks great. All your embellishments are fabulous but they are not needed to take the eyes from your image, which is great. Such a haughty expression! Hugs Christine xx

  7. Looks a great deal like a Spanish senorita. Nice. The coloring of faces and hair is not always easy but you did and good job of it. Very nice surrounding embellishments and I think there they highlight, not distract from, the image. The roses are a nice finishing touch.

  10. Sue your card is gorgeous, love how you did the scarf. Feliway was my daughters saving grace when she was introducing the new kitten to her two older cats, and yes they were like blossom - very laid back, she also thought the £40 was worth it. And the kitten was excepted with not one problem. Hazel xx
