Not sure whether I have mentioned this before, but we are going to Scarborough next week to meet up with Sue J and her husband Paul (Olliesmam - and dad of course). I'm just hoping that she's on her best behaviour and doesn't cause any more mayhem, they've only just cleared up after our last visit!!! I will probably get a thick ear for that one - ooops! ROFL
Anyway, this is my card for Challenge No 214 over on the One Stitch at a Time blog. This week it's Anything Goes, so you can enter any of your creations.
I love this image and chose it for my teamie Jennie and myself after I had seen a card made by Christine Harrop, Christine's Cards and Crafts. It's such a great image and can be made to look so different each time you use it. I tried to make mine look as if it was framed by a porthole - ooh do any of you remember a song they used to play on the 'radio' on Sundays. something like 'With a song in my heart, heaven opened it's portals to me' well, I was a very very little girl (erm..) and I used to think it was 'heaven opened it's portholes to me'.
Sorry about that little waffle but it still makes me giggle even though I'm a few years older!
Ingredients
7" x 7" Kraft card blank - Anna Marie Designs
'In the Harbour' image - Delicious Doodles at Stitchy Bear Digi Outlet
Coastal Border Background card - Kanban
'May your SUN etc' sentiment - TLC Creations blog
Scalloped Circle die - Tonic Layering Die set
Plain Circle die - Tonic Layering Die set
Stitched Circle die - Lil'inker Stitched Stax
Card Candi - Craftwork Cards
Flexmarkers
Gold Mirri card - stash
Gold cord - stash from a box of choccies!
I hope you enter the challenge, the prize, if you use a Stitchy Bear image, is the 7 digi stamps we used in Challenge 212. Well worth it.
Thank you so much for visiting my blog - apologies once again for the waffle. I loved the comments on my last card - made me giggle because the first 'creation' really was a joke and I am sure some of the challenges took it as the card I was entering into their challenge!
Enjoy the rest of your weekend and think of us in Scarborough next week - watch out for us on the news!
Lots of hugs to you all
Sue xxx

"Two Way Family Favourites" Sue! It was on Sunday lunchtimes and this song always brings back memories of mum cooking Sunday lunch of roast beef and Yorkshire pudding. Ah, those were the days. Now I'll be singing it all day I hope you realise!! I absolutely love how you have put it behind the port window, looks fabulous! And I love the backing paper!

I adore your card! It TOTALLY looks like a portal, Soup!! Did I say this before (coz I'm really suffering from CRS) that I should be typing the P as it sounds, too, which actually makes you Soupie, when you think about it. Did I already say that? Well, I think that's what I will do, I know either way, you're a good chap about it. I wish I could be with you and Ollie's Mam and fam, but I don't have my ankle bracelet off yet. Maybe next year, eh?! Big hugs, Darnell
