CHRISTMAS CARDS ALL YEAR ROUND - JULY - DOTS AND STRIPES

Afternoon everyone in blogland - it's the hottest day so far this year according to the peeps on TV and as I trype we are in the midst of a thunderstorm!  No rain just rumblings ..... so far..... although it is really hot and here I am posting two Christmas cards - lol!!!!

As it is now July - the seventh month!!! - it really is the best time for you to get started on your Christmas cards, if you haven't already.  The theme at Christmas Cards All Year Round is 'Dots and Stripes' and that opens up a whole lot of choices.  One of my cards has snowy paper on it that looks like dots so I'm calling them 'snots' - sorry if that's too much information for you although I'm sure Mrs Duck will have thought of it as well!  Here's my two cards for this month.

Card No 1

Card No 2
Both of these cards are reasonably flat so they will OK good to post!  I've used both dots and stripes on my cards because I like to see them together but you don't have to.  You don't even have to use this type of paper - candy canes have stripes!  I do hope you can join in our challenge, it would be lovely to see your creations on there.

  11. Hi Sue
I have no idea what you are incinerating, lol!
Both cards are gorgeous but my fave is the first one as I love a bit of foliage action.
I have made one Christmas card for a DT challenge but I have 3 days off and some of Sue Wilsons new Christmas dies so it would be rude not to play.
Have a great weekend. . . . . . .and stop doing what's making you hot and sticky!
