This is the card I made - you will have seen the little fairy image before on one of my cards, but the papers are new to my blog. You can get this pack, called Birthday Surprise from Panda Bear at the Stitchy Bear Digi Outlet. This particular paper is called 'So Sweet' - but they are all gorgeous.
The theme for the Challenge this week is 'use a digi' and you can win the 7 images that the DT members used in Challenge 206. Check out the One Stitch at a Time blog there are some gorgeous cards made by my teamies. You may also notice that we have been joined by my blog pal Christine Harrop (Christine's Cards and Crafts). This is her first DT so check out her creation - gorgeous methinks!!!

Just thought, whilst you are here, that I would let you know that Blossom escaped last night! She was left downstairs and managed to open the door, I was reading in bed and Graham had just nodded off when there was a loud rumble followed by some very quick thudding noises then as the noise reached the doorway ... silence for a nano-second followed by a thump onto the bed as one very pleased, puffed up Blossom landed on the duvet sounding like a car engine. The rumble was her running up the stairs, the quick thudding was her running along the landing and the silence for a nano-second was her launching herself from the doorway onto the bed. The engine noise .... well that was her purring with her success!!! Now imagine one of those Flamenco dancers in a pose, head up, proud............. well now imagine Blossom in that very same pose - she was as pleased as punch .... until the maestro (who had woken up thinking we had thunder overhead) took her back downstairs! My, can that cat sulk or what!!! We are still in bad books!
Oh well - que sera sera - and here is the pic of her sitting in the flower pot just before she lay down and overflowed - remember me overflowing on the bike seat in an earlier post - probably not a good thought!
Thank you for stopping by, I do hope you like the card I made for the OSAAT Challenge, try and enter - you are all so talented. Please leave me a comment if you can, even if it is to do with Modom! If you have any advice on how to deal with her 'escapertise' - as long as they aren't cruel of course - I would probably be grateful lol!
Big hugs to you all out there, please take care of yourselves.
SUE xxx

ReplyDeleteNo advice for the escapee...other than lots of hugs...my eldest daughter has a cat and it can open doorknobs...so I well know the problem with escapees! lol

Your card is wonderful as always...those little cupcakes with the hearts on them look yummy!
Love your fairy cake card, like you I still think of them as fairy cakes, the thing is we were always happy to have these little cakes, children these days seem to want these great big muffins. Blossom does look like she is sulking. Hazel xx

Hi Sue
ReplyDeleteYour card looks good enough to eat. . . . . Are there less calories in card than cake?
I thought the difference between fairy and cupcakes was just a size thing, fairy cakes being smaller? I always go with the, if you're going to have one, have a big one custom.
As for Blossom (back on the pot I see) pawcuffs? or a new door latch? Either way, she don't look happy lol!
Bon nuit.

Little Miss Blossom could not be more content, could she? What an amazing garden for her to sun in. I envy your daffodils - one of my favorite flowers, which do not grow here at all. Beautiful! And your card is darling! Love the fairy presenting those yummy cupcakes. Even more, you papers look fabulous with that design going thru them - sort of like a zipper - fabulous combination! Hope your week is a good one, Sue! I love visiting your "planet" xo

The papers are magnificent. As for puss, I've no advice, but she does make a good character for story time, even posing so nicely for the illustrations!! Happy Easter/Happy Spring! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteLove the card and your pink and blue color combo, Sue! Wonderful. Even more tickled by your fur baby. :-D There are two fur babies who rule the roost at my house and they think they don't get enough blog time even though their photos are prominently displayed on my sidebar. But I love them dearly. OK, back to the task at hand -- Thanks so much for playing along in our "Anything goes" challenge at Scribble & Scrap this fortnight and I hope we're going to see you again for the next challenge, too. Good luck in the draw.
