CCC - CLARE'S CHALLENGE "PASTEL COLOURS PLUS A CIRCLE"

Hello blog friends and followers - welcome to my new follower Mandy, thank you for joining my blog and I hope you enjoy my warblings and my cards.

I have my second card for the CCC today, this challenge is to make a Christmas card using pastel colours and to incorporate a circle in the design.  I made my first ever pastel coloured Christmas card last year - yay - and must admit I am a convert.

The image I used is in the shape of a Christmas wreath so this set me off on my circle design.

Ingredients

8" x 8"  blank card
First Edition - Christmas Joy card
 Image from Bing Colouring Pages
Spellbinders Grand Nestabilities Small Scallop
Spellbinders Grand Nestabilities Fancy Circle
Central Border, Charm, Ribbon from stash
Marianne Creatables Icicle Border Die
Martha Stewart Snowflake Border punch
Copics and Promarkers

I hope you like this one, must admit it is weird making Christmas cards in this heat eh???

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today, if you can, please leave me a comment or three.  I love reading the banter on here, I would say that cardmaking keeps me sane, but we all know that isn't true don't we girls!!!

Big hugs to all my bloggy friends out there.

Hope you have enjoyed the weekend.

SUE

I would like to enter my card into the following 5 challenges -

  5. This is gorgeous Sue! The colour is beautiful and the image is really sweet! All your embellishments look fantastic, particularly the snow flakes. Well, I've done my washing and ironing and the fridge and larder are restocked so I'll soon be able to have a go at crafting I think!

Love and hugs from Christine xx

  6. Darling card, Sue, and wonderful designs done in the pastels. I am in the process of making 3 Christmas cards, one of the pastel pink (my first one). I also like all the little happy characters in your background papers! Really sweet, pretty card, Sue! Thank you for sending the adhesive! can hardly wait to try it. Sue, we no longer have the option of sending packages by "sea". I used to mail Christmas Presents to my friends in Oz, and would ship by ocean, but now we are only allowed to send things air mail. Interesting, that ocean-postage is still available to the UK but not the US. Thanks again for the wonderful card share! hugs, de
