However, I posted a card yesterday and I am posting another today so it can't all be bad eh!!
This is my DT card for OSAAT Challenge No 198 this week - and the image was my choice for our little team. I adore this fairy, she is so cute, you can find her HERE. This set of digis includes a ladybird, dragonfly, flowers, snail and butterfly - it's called the Babybug set and is from BBKakes at the Stitchy Bear Digi Outlet. Check out what my teamies have created as well!
Once again this Challenge is 'Anything Goes' and if you use a digi from Stitchy Bear you can win all the digis we used in Challenge No 196! You can still win a prize if you use another digi, so please have a go!!
I lurve this ladybird die (until now unused) and decided I would just have to put it on my design. I had been watching C & C the other day whilst 'tidying' my desk and saw how the lady (apologies for not remembering who) was using a large ball tool around the edges of her petals to give them a 'dome' shape. I usually just blob the tool all over the underside without any rhyme or reason! I decided to give this a go on my ladybirds and they really look like proper bugs - not flat at all, just nicely rounded. Oh btw the ladybirds and flowers were made out of little bits from my snippets box so I shall be visiting the Snippets Playground Miss Di.
As with yesterday's card, I have tweaked the foliage swirls so that some of them stand away from the card and I also perched a ladybird on top of one. I edged the card, flowers and foliage with a little bit of Spun Sugard DI, just to take away the starkness of the white.

GOM you certainly are not Sue ....we're British and our weather is a national 'must have discussion' Now my bone of contention is the greyness of our rainy days but, come summer ....wow, I'm evil as I hate the heat much more than cold. hmmm, did you want this chat pursued here or shall I say a few words about my pleasure in seeing your card? xx
ReplyDeleteSue, you have created such a beautiful card, so full of the joys of Spring. It's all so beautiful but I am awed by your ladybirds ....when I first saw them I thought that they were purchased embellishments as the rounded dimension that you have achieved is so realistic. Love Ingrid xxx ♥
First off your coloring is amazing! Her hair with the highlights is perfect. I also love the lady bugs you have made.
