CHRISTMAS CARDS ALL YEAR ROUND - AUGUST - USE THE COLOUR YELLOW

Hi there - today I'm posting the mid-month reminder for the CCAYR challenge where our theme is 'Use Yellow'.  I must admit that I struggled with this one at first and then I found an LOTV Art Pad in my 'stash' and there's quite a bit of yellow in this image - thankfully!  After that it was easy - I suppose I'd never thought of the yellow glow from a light coming through a window - duh!   

I used quite a lot of gold sparkly bits on here too, just to bring out the yellow light from the window and the surrounding bricks.  Naturally this looks much more 'yellowy' irl!!!  Typical!

Anyway must be off to do a little bit of ironing, it's swimming tomorrow and I'm really looking forward to it - I actually managed 50 lengths last Friday and 44 on Wednesday - wish they'd do an Olympics for OAPs, I'd enter!!   I'm kidding of course 'cos I would probably be giggling far too much to be able to swim!
