CHRISTMAS CARDS ALL YEAR ROUND - AUGUST - USE THE COLOUR YELLOW



Hi there - today I'm posting the mid-month reminder for the CCAYR challenge where our theme is 'Use Yellow'.  I must admit that I struggled with this one at first and then I found an LOTV Art Pad in my 'stash' and there's quite a bit of yellow in this image - thankfully!  After that it was easy - I suppose I'd never thought of the yellow glow from a light coming through a window - duh!   


I used quite a lot of gold sparkly bits on here too, just to bring out the yellow light from the window and the surrounding bricks.  Naturally this looks much more 'yellowy' irl!!!  Typical!     

 Ingredients

 6" x 6" white card blank - stash
Image - LOTV Art Pad 18 'Winter Wonderland'
First Edition Paper - 'Christmas Village' 8" x 8"
DCWV - 'Glitzy Pastels' stack 6" x 6"
Christmas sentiments - LOTV Christmas Label clear stamps
Crafts-Too Dies - Oval Stitch hole die
Creative Expressions Dies - Festive Collection 'Holly Accessory kit' dies
Stardust Stickles glue
Gems, Gold Glitzy tape, white tassel, snowflake dies - all unbranded

 The prize this month is ...

 Anyway must be off to do a little bit of ironing, it's swimming tomorrow and I'm really looking forward to it - I actually managed 50 lengths last Friday and 44 on Wednesday - wish they'd do an Olympics for OAPs, I'd enter!!   I'm kidding of course 'cos I would probably be giggling far too much to be able to swim!
