Morning everyone - I'm just posting my mid-month reminder card for the CCAYR Challenge. I always love using poinsettias on my Christmas cards so when I saw that our challenge was for Christmas flowers I was tempted to use them again but ...... I had a die that I was waiting to use and, even though it was an Anemone, I thought I could make it into a Christmas Rose (aka Helleborus) instead.
The flower dies are from Elizabeth Craft Dies and I think they are all gorgeous.
Ingredients
7" x 7" White card blank - Anna Marie Designs
Image - 'Presents and Christmas Roses' - Colouring Pages
Die'sire Embossing Folder - 'Holiday Holly'
Creative Dies - Nesting Circles die
Elizabeth Craft Dies - 'Anemone' flower die from 'Susan's Garden'
Sweet Dixie Dies - 'Bells and Holly' die
Spellbinders 'Poppy' die - Small Leaf die
Die-namics Dies - 'Stitched Fishtail Flag' die
Unbranded Dies - Large 'bobble' fern die
Copics
Stardust Stickles
Martha Stewart Flock (on the stamens)
Sentiment typed and then 'Minc'd' with gold foil on my machine
I do hope it's not too early for you to start your Christmas cards - what am I talking about - it's NEVER too early! Let's see your creations over on the CCAYR blog - just check out the projects from my teamies.
The prize for this month's winner is
Don't forget there are badges for the Winner and Top 3 as well.
Am planning to do some colouring this afternoon - whether I get a 'Round Tuit' is another matter, you see we are popping into town this morning and that means we will HAVE to go into John Lewis for a coffee and bun and this afternoon I'll probably nod orf!! Love a little nap in the afternoon after a wander around town.
Anyway must go - catch you later - take care!
Big hugs to you all.
Love Suexxx
