Good afternoon friends and bloggers out there I hope you are all well - or at least getting better if you have been poorly. I'm glad January is over 'cos I hadn't been to the GP in three years and during January I was in and out of her surgery like a fiddler's elbow! Had good news and bad news, Saturday morning I had to go to a special Breast Screening appointment but was given the news that I'm fine and that was one heck of a relief. The bad news is that I am diabetic and didn't even know! Mind you this was a kick up the bum that I needed to change my eating habits - vastly - so onwards and upwards with that one. Oh and the maestro hasn't escaped unscathed either, he has had problems with his knees and shoulders and has to go for x-rays the week after next. So we both seem to be crumbling gently for our ages! :) Please don't think I'm grumbling 'cos I'm not - just telling it how it is - things could be loooaaads worse.
Anyway, enough waffling and wittering, this fortnight the theme for the OSAAT challenge is Anything Goes with the lurve - ooops - love. So I chose a gorgeous digi from My Heart Pieces here at the Stitchy Bear Digi Outlet, I thought it would be lovely for a Valentine card. Might even send it to the maestro - even if he has taken this pic! Bless.
I hope you like this one - there's lots of hearts on there and I found the 'hearty' paper in my stash - which was lucky! This is a corker of an embossing folder and I loved using it. Being so close to Valentine's Day I'm sure you will be making one - or two! - cards so why not enter them into our Challenge!
There's a wonderful prize package to be won - not only digi images but paper too!

Take care - I know some of you are suffering because of the snow - just make sure you keep warm and cosy - and if you are like Sue J and have to take your furbaby out for a walk, don't forget his or her coat! Mmmmmm!

Really pretty, Sue. Mr P is convinced the little house is for him and Blossom. :)
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about your ills. We were having Pasteis de Belém this morning and I thought of sending you a box! That would have been a disastrous move! Sadly, Portuguese egg tarts are not a diabetes friendly treats. (Do you remember these tarts?) Take care, my friend.

ReplyDeleteooooooooooooahhhhhhhhhhhhhh I hate those Breast Screening machines.
I'm sure you know what I mean as we are both part of the Double DDs brigade.
So glad you had the all clear like me though.
Not so good about the Diabetic news though, poor you, and poor hubby too.
We all look forward to retirement, and then when we get there health throws a spanner in the works.
Not that I'm moaning either.
Just nice to get these things off your chest.
Love your super card, and as you say that embossing folder is really great as I use it quite a lot too.
Love and biggest hugs to all in the P household.
