I chose Carol Singers for my theme - and am hoping that the girls liked it. There's a folder in my drawer where I keep images that I've stamped, but not used for some reason and this little sweetie was amongst them. The image was stamped on textured card (a bit like the sort used for water colouring) so I used me Aquamarkers for a change!!! As the rubber stamp itself is really small, the image is only 2.5" x 1.25" (to the end of number one's whiskers!) I used a small 5.25" x 5.25" card blank. There were some snippets of paper left over from other cards I had made, and these fitted perfectly - ta da!
I love using white on white for the poinsettias but added loads of Glamour Dust to make them sparkle. I thought little bells would be a good addition, I wanted silver ones but hey ho I only had gold ones - typical!!!!
Ingredients
5.25" x 5.25" white Card Blank - stash
Rubber stamp - possibly a Penny Black one?????
Winter Wishes Sentiment - Spellbinders stamps free with magazine
LOTV Nitwit Collection - Winter Wishes paper pad
Tattered Lace Embossing Folders - Ditsy Dots
Spellbinders Dies - A2 Distressed Edges die
Memory Box Dies - Garden Sprig die
All Occasions Dies - Poinsettia x 3 die
Aquamarkers
DecoArt Glamour Dust
Stardust Sprinkles
Bells - stash
This one is not as flat for posting because of the bells so I think this will have to be a hand-delivered card!
Thank you for stopping by and having a quick glance at my wee creation. Please leave a comment, if you have time, and let me know what you think.
Lots of hugs to you all and enjoy your weekend!

ReplyDeleteHi Sue, this was a fun theme, and I've enjoyed seeing everyone's take on it. Also enjoyed reading that I wasn't the only one who had to change ideas - and amazed to see some motifs as carol singers that were so unique and special. Your carolers are adorable, and love the subtle plaid background with all the white motifs you've added. Your sparkling white poinsettias are so pretty, and the tiny gold bells were just the right thing to add to draw the eye right in to this delightful group of carolers. TFS & Hugs too.
ReplyDeleteThis is a gorgeous little number Sue, love the sweet little image which you've enhanced with all those beautiful dies and lots of sparkle. I enjoyed using my favourite stamp, great challenge...thank you. Carol x
