CCC(20) - CHRISTINE'S THEME - A WINTER WONDERLAND..... BRRRRRRRRRRR!!!

Good morning everyone out there in blogland - I hope you are all well and crafting!   Because I have to post my DT card for the OSAAT challenge tomorrow I am posting my CCC card a day early - I don't think my fellow CCC members will mind though, we have a lovely little coven oops - club.  Anyway this fortnight it was Christine's turn to choose a theme so she chose 'Winter Wonderland' and I thought of a little village - in the wilds somewhere - totally covered in snow, where I could make another snow angel (providing Graham was there to help me get up off me knees) - ooooouch!!!

I have this gorgeous, rather large, rubber stamp by Anita which I thought would really fit the idea I had in my head!   Then I 'found' most of my snowflake dies (just had to mention this for Sue J), cut them out in glitter card and glued them around the stamped area.   It didn't take too much colouring, as you can tell, so I made this card in an afternoon - yeehaaa!   Another bonus is that it's also very flat - for posting!

Ingredients

7" x 7" White Card Blank - Anna Marie Designs
Pale Blue backing card - stash
Winter scene rubber stamp - Anita's Stamps (very very old)
Merry Christmas sentiment - Stamps Away
Delicate Snowflake Emb. Folder - Tattered Lace
Giovanna Snowflake die - Poppy Stamps Dies
Lindeman Snowflake, Bristol Snowflake, New Castle Snowflake and Rizza Snowflake dies - Memory Box Dies
Snowflake plate DIE 100-F - I.O. Dies
Flexmarkers
Pinflair Pearl Wand (for the blobs!)
Glitter

I quite like this simple 'quick' card and, once again, it's another one in me box for Christmas!

Thank you for stopping by my blog, I hope you enjoyed the visit and, if you managed to leave me a comment, I am really grateful.

Please take great care of yourselves, I'll be back soon to add a few challenges.

Big hugs to you all

  8. Hi Sue me wonderful blogging mate.
    Super card today.
I love your stamped image and your super design.
Great pearly dots too, has that Sue J been teaching you.
    Super photography work Graham.
I just know what you mean about trying ot get up off the floor, it takes so long nowadays. lol.
I just dread falling over I might never get back up off the floor, and would have to craft on my wobbly belly. lol.
Now that would be a feat, I challenge anyone to cut a straight line like that, but then I suppose peeps that are disabled love em sometimes have to do lots of things that way, and they are amazing.
Love to all in the P household.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

  14. WOW! I love your scene and those die cuts are lush! I may, sometime in the future, CASE your card Sue because I love it that much. I have never thought of framing an image with die cuts. You have started a very achy cog turning in my tired brain!! A really stunning and beautiful scene and so perfect for Christine's wonderful challenge. If I ever do CASE it I'll let you know and will send them here to see what inspired me. I ache too much to get down to the snow but it is a wonderful idea! Karen xx

  17. Your snowy village is a perfect wonderland, with all those snow-covered trees surrounding that church. I'm loving all those icy, sparkling snowflakes that you've adhered around the focal image. That took quite a while, I'll bet. They made such a lovely frame for the already beautiful scene. I'm glad you found your dies!!! TFS & Hugs
