I am now making a few cards for friends and neighbours - I have two to send so far - yay! Better get me finger out. I used Copics on this one (this is my Christmas present, as you may remember from my last post). Suzie is right though, you still need more colours. However, I will be mixing Copics with Promarkers so I have quite a few colours to use.
I liked this little image - I found it on a Polka Doodles CD (am almost sure of this but forgive me if I am having a Senior Moment). I wanted to use my new border dies and thought they would go with the little snowflake flower.
I decorated the inside of the card with the same papers and cut out a plain piece for the sentiment with the Splendid Circles dies. I punched out a few snowflakes with the X-Cut punch and popped them over the join on the inside to soften the edge. Coo I'm sounding a bit like that Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen bloke.
Ingredients
Card Base - 6 x 6"
Papers - HOTP Paper Pizzazz and HOTP Christmas
Dies - Spellbinders Small Circle and Splendid Circles
Image - ?Polka Doodles Magical Winter CD
Sentiment - LOTV
Memory Box - Frosty and Frostyville Borders
X-Cut - Snowflake punch
Copic Ciao Markers
Iced Spruce DI
Stardust Stickles and Glamour Dust
I hope you like this one, thank you again for stopping by and for reading my wafflings - I know some of you quite like them - thank goodness. Please leave me a comment if you have a minute or three, I love reading them - especially when I make you laugh. I hope you are all well and getting things sorted for Christmas.

This is adorable Sue. Love all the dies you have used. I have the trilogy of the shades book but haven't had time to start yet. I think every one in my apartment block has read it already. They are all aged between 70 - 90. Lol!!! I am the baby of them all. Hubby bought for me so I don't know if he is expecting great things. Lol!!!

OMG you make me laugh lol....I know I have already commented on this but just read again about your 50 shades....
ReplyDeleteI went to get my hair cut and coloured on Saturday and they, unbeknown to me had been talking about the book. Anyway when the hairdresses came over to me, she flipped my hair this way and that and said, 'omg 50 shade of gray for sure'. Not meaning me but still talking about the book...naturally I thought 'gosh was my hair that bad'. We all had a good laugh....now onto the next chapter.....xx
