Whilst I am here I would really love you to check out the Bearly Mine Blog - they have a MEGA candy giveaway at the moment - you can find it here http://bearlymine.blogspot.co.uk/2012/10/mega-blog-candy.html.
Anyway this is the card I was thinking about in the dentist's chair on Wednesday - at least it took my mind off the drill that sounded like something out of Formula One inside my head.
I really love these butterflies, they are both from Spellbinders.
Isn't this sentiment sweet and so lovely when it happens!

I am going to check out some Challenges and will edit this post later when I have found them. I am off to help/supervise Graham in the garden with the bulbs and plants we bought yesterday. This gives my back some exercise and we also get some fresh air - yay!!!
I hope you like my dentist's chair creation - I'm quite pleased with it (wonder if the meds I took had helped- lol). Thank you so much for stopping by and reading my wafflings - if you have time, please leave a comment 'cos I love reading them.
Big hugs to you all
SUE

ReplyDeleteWow, wow, wow. Sue this is absolutely beautiful, everything about it is exquisite. Think the visit to the dentist was definitely worth it :). Hope the planting went well and you have enjoyed your Friday, love Christine H xx
ReplyDeleteWell dear lady this was definitely worth the wait. What a stunning card! I love the little touches of red you mentioned to me and am so glad it wasn't blood related...lol!! I don't think any gorriness (is that even in the dictionary?) contributed to this card but maybe you are right and the drugs helped because it is certainly dreamy.
ReplyDeleteI have the same black and white paper pack from create and craft, its fabulous and it sets off this card perfectly.
Have a great weekend Hugs Linda x
HI Sue,
ReplyDeleteI don't know how I missed this yesterday. My loss wasn't it. What a superb, and fantastic card.
If that's what you can create out of sitting in the dentist chair, I'm ready to go everyday. lol. Just superb the design and cplours used.
Have a wonderful crafty day .
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.
Hi Sue, I missed this yesterday...but it is absolutely gorgeous. I was just on Sue Wilson's blog where she has a splash of red on a black and white card as well today...it really makes the card pop! Good luck with the challenges, Carole Z X
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card Sue - I so love the intricacy of it - perfect.
ReplyDeleteYou asked if I choose papers before colouring an image and yes, you are right. I used to colour an image and then try (for hours) to find a paper to match but I just find it easier to pick the papers first.
Thanks for dropping by and leaving me some lovely comments as always.
enjoy the rest of your weekend.
