ALMOST WHITE PAPERCRAFT CHALLENGE

Hello and good morning fellow bloggers.  This is the earliest I have ever put anything on my blog so I might be a little bog-eyed!

I am posting a card that I made yesterday for Linda's (Creative Harmony) Challenge - http://creativeharmony.blogspot.co.uk/2012/08/almost-white-papercraft-challenge.html.  I started out with one idea in my head ie I was going to do the background as half embossed.  I changed my mind, as per usual, then just followed my imagination.  I hadn't a clue where I was heading, however I was really pleased with the result.  If it is tooooo lilac-y Linda, please feel free to delete it though.

My colours are White Base, Lavender diecuts, White/Lavender flowers with a little hint of green.

Ingredients :

White card from Sue Wilson's Neutral card pack
Persian Motif/Accents die
Ironworks Motif
LOTV Sentiment stamp
Milled Lavender DI
Flowers/Ribbon from my stash

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog, I hope you like the card I made for Linda's Challenge.

Big hugs to you all and I hope you have a great day - even if it is raining - as here!

SUE

  2. WOW! This is stunning Sue. I love the design and the delicate touches of lilac are so pretty. I'm the same as you, I think, in that I often have an idea in my head but I usually change my mind half way through!

  4. Hi Sue,
Ooh this is perfect, why would I contemplate deleting this from the Challenge, it has everything I asked for. Main colour of white with lilac as the secondary colour and green being the tiny accent colour. Like I said, perfect! Ah.... sorry, on checking your card again, I may have to disqualify it after all...... it's prettier than mine!!
LOL!! Only teasing... it is prettier, but I would never consider disqualifying it.
Thank you so much for your entry, I was so excited when I saw it today.
Don't think me sad but I can't wait to do the challenges. I get so excited as I wait to see what everyone else sees in the theme provided. If I could afford it I would be doing challenges every week just for the thrill of seeing the theme become something tangible.
To end, please go to my blog anytime after 4.30pm there is a little surprise for you.... see you there.
    Regards Linda xx
