OSAAT DT CHALLENGE - NO 269 - ANYTHING GOES FOR A MALE

Good afternoon everyone - well here I am with my next card for the OSAAT Challenge where our theme is Anything Goes for a Male.   I chose this gorgeous digi of a buck although I think of him as a stag and despite the fact that I'm not pleased with my colouring of the hills, I do think he looks quite proud of himself!

Ingredients

7" x 7" White card blank - Anna Marie Designs
Digi - 'Buck - Wild' - Reeces Scrap Pieces at Stitchy Bear's DO
Paper - LOTV 'Country Gent' 8" x 8" pad
Paper - LOTV 'Father Knows Best' 8" x 8" pad
Paper - First Edition 'Falling Leaves' 8" x 8" pad
Memory Box Dies - Pine Needles Border die
Poppy Stamps Dies - Pine Sprigs die
Tonic Dies - 'Happy Birthday' Pansy Topper die
Gold Striped Card Candy - Craftwork Cards
Copics and a few grey Flexmarkers

The prize we are offering is a $10 voucher to spend at Stitchy Bear's Digi Outlet you'll be spoilt for choice so we do hope you will enter this fortnight.

I'd love it if you could pop over and enter our challenge and also check on the work that the DT has produced, I hope that my teamies can inspire you with their 'male' themed creations.

Now for a little update on the feline family - as usual Donny and Blossom are 'behaving' themselves (almost) and young Biscuit seems to be feeling loads better,  he had to wear his 'Elizabethan' collar for three days to stop his 'over-grooming', I de-flea'd them all and also bought him some very expensive food  - £40 for a 3 for 2 bag of yummy dry food, mind you I will give some of this to the others as well.  I know that if they are all OK, I feel OK - daft isn't it.

Oh well have a nice afternoon and I'll catch you all later.

Big hugs to you all and take care, especially those of you who have been feeling poorly lately.

Love Sue xxx

CHRISTMAS CARDS ALL YEAR ROUND - AUGUST - USE BRIGHT SUMMERY COLOURS

Hi there blog friends - it's time for a mid month reminder for the Christmas Cards All Year Round Challenge where our theme is to use 'Bright Summery Colours'.  As always I've mixed mine up a bit and the snowman is dressed in bright colours and the backing papers are pastel summer colours - well who said it wasn't weird up here on Planet Susie eh??

Ingredients

7" x 7" White card blank - Anna Marie Designs
Image - 'Winter Wonderland'  b&w designs by Daisy Mae Draws at Hobby Art
Papers - 'Stocking Fillers' 8 x 8 First Edition
Papers - 'Festive Trimmings' 8 x 8 LOTV
Corner Punch (unknown maker)
Memory Box - Snowflake Corner die
Copics
Pearls from stash
Stardust Stickles
Scrap of Gold card for mat

Now for the details of the prizes on offer this month

Prize No1 is
from
Prize: 2 digis (3 if you've used a Stamping Boutique digi)

Prize No2 is
Gingham Tape
October Afternoon Chip Alphabet
'Your Next Stamp'- Monty the Snake (unmounted rubber stamp)

Definitely good prizes!!!  We want to see your entries, you can do any paper project as long as it's Christmas and fits the theme so come on get cracking - it's not that long until the big day - and it's being so cheerful that keeps me going!  Plus the fact that I really do love making Christmas cards - mojo is never really too far away when it comes to these.

Oh well must be off, as I told my blog friend Christine (Harrop) Blossom is looking well after her surgery to remove an air rifle pellet from her side but Biscuit seems to have been rather more stressed with his stay in the cattery and his over-grooming and skin condition have flared up again so I have to keep up with medication for him.

Oh and he's been up to his cheeky habits again - our neighbours recently moved (so Milo doesn't pop in for her snacks now!) but the new neighbours have Billy, a rescue ex-racing Greyhound, who might be a tad dangerous for felines to be around - I wish someone would tell Biscuit that though, 'cos he was found in their kitchen the other day having a feed  - courtesy of Billy!!!  I was mortified - not quite as mortified as when Catherine (who's just moved) told me that one day she'd just come out of the shower when she came face to face with Biscuit walking up the stairs having a little perv!!!

Lots of big hugs to you all and take care - enjoy the sunshine.

We have been sponsored this month by the amazing Bugaboo Stamps and the winner is going to receive 7 digi stamps as their prize - Jodie really is a star!!

So come on and join in our challenge - remember though, in order to win our prizes you must be a follower of the blog, once we have reached 1000 followers there's a bloomin' wonderful prize waiting to be won!!

Well that's enough from me for now although I might just post a picture below of Terry - he's the Titan Trigger fish that we became friendly with on holiday and it was only when we Googled him that we found out that in the breeding season they would often (err most likely) attack anyone going near their little 'nests' so to speak!  Now this fish was bigger than a dinner plate and had the teeth of a two year old child - well they do nibble on coral so I guess they need 'em!

Oh and I was standing just over to the side of him when the maestro took this picture underwater.  As you can see from the second pic he is near the surface, I just wish there was something else in there that could have shown you how big he was ..... my hand for instance!!!

I can't help but chuckle when I see this one of Terry - he had a couple of pals with him but they were just a little bit smaller and not quite so brazenly posing.

Big hugs to you all and I hope those of you who are feeling under the weather start to feel a bit brighter soon - you know who you are!!!

CRAFTS GALORE ENCORE CHALLENGE - AUGUST - USE A DIGI OR A STAMP

Hi there peeps - well today is my first card for the Crafts Galore Encore Challenge DT - I am so chuffed to have been offered a place on the team and couldn't believe that they had chosen me.  Anyway this month the theme is to use a digi or a stamp and we've been sponsored by My Besties Digi and Rubber Stamps - just click to be directed to her online shop.

Sooo here's my card

Before I go I just thought I'd show you my lovely Copic blob!  I was just finishing off her shoes before I coloured her hair and there it was - a bloomin' great blue blob from me Copic marker!  If I wasn't a lady I would have cursed - yeah!!!  A careful bit of scissor work and I cut the bottom part of another image off, coloured it in (you'll notice I steered clear of the blue!!) and glued it over the blobby bit - just have to find out where the blue Copic is now, 'cos it left my hand rather quickly in the direction of the open window!!

Well that's all from me for now - we had a brilliant holiday and I had some gorgeous cards for my birthday and, when I got back, I had a totally brilliant present from my blog friend Asha in Portugal - she even sent a little something for the furbs to enjoy - yum yum yum!

I'll post a couple of holiday pics for you to have a giggle at later.

Hugs to you all and take care.
