CRAFTS GALORE ENCORE - MARCH - ANYTHING GOES

Good morning everyone - just here to post my card for the CGE challenge this month.  Our themes are always Anything Goes - I love these 'cos they enable us to be as OTT or as CAS as we want to be.

Ingredients

Image - 'Air Fairy' from Fabrika Fantasy (pre-coloured)
7" x 7" pearl white card blank - Anna Marie Designs
Papers - old stash
Marianne Creatables Dies - Fancy Square die - LR0242
Memory Box Dies - Darrington Corner die
Memory Box Dies - Pippi Butterfly die
Elizabeth Craft Designs Dies - Happy Birthday sentiment die
Spellbinders Dies - Resplendant Rectangle dies (smallest one)
Copic markers (used to enhance image)
Wink of Stella marker (on wings)
White glitter on butterflies and corner dies

This month we've been sponsored by Fabrika Fantasy - they have fabulous images, both outline and pre-coloured.  I used a pre-coloured one this time only because I wanted to use blue anyway so I printed her off and then I just added a few bits of extra colour with my Copics.

I hope you can join in this month, Anything Goes is a popular theme, so we can't wait to see what you can make for our challenge.

Thanks for nipping over and checking out my blog and thank you in advance for any comments you may leave, I certainly enjoy reading them.  Biscuit has to have a tooth out today so I'm feeling really nervous for him, keeping everything crossed though.

Take care, sending you big hugs -

INTERNATIONAL ART AND SOUL CHALLENGE NO 2 - RECYCLING

Good afternoon fellow bloggers out there - this is the second challenge of the INTAAS blog and this fortnight we are recycling - so here's my 'recycled' Christmas card.  Many crafters can't bear to throw away all of the cards they receive at this time of year and I'm one of them!

I used the front of the card - 'chopped' just slightly smaller than the original.  Although you can't tell from this angle, there are several snowflakes on the Christmas tree that have been mounted on foam squares just to add extra dimension.

Ingredients

Recycled Christmas card front
7" x 7" White Card blank - Anna Marie Designs
Creative Expressions Embossing Folder - Snowflake Lattice
Elizabeth Craft Designs Dies - Garden Notes 'Holiday Holly and Berries' dies
Apple Blossom Dies - Leaves DIOB0267
Pearls - stash

I hope you like this early Christmas card - my favourite type of card to create I have to admit!!  Our Challenge is 'Just for Fun' but we have wonderful badges to display on your sidebar if you are one of our lucky winners/Top 3 - all chosen by the DT.   Don't forget you can make anything you like just as long as you recycle!

So glad that you have popped by again, and I hope you find time to check out the creations of my Teamies on the INTAAS blog.

Lots of hugs to you all and please take care.

Love Suexxx

CHRISTMAS CARDS ALL YEAR ROUND - FEBRUARY - USE RED AND/OR PINK PLUS A HEART

Hi there everyone - I'm just posting the mid-month reminder card for CCAYR where our theme is 'Use Red and/or Pink and a Heart'.  I bought a few of the LOTV digi images when they came out and James Snow Angel is one that I thought would fit in really well with the heart.

The sentiment reads 'May there always be an angel by your side'.  As you can tell from the pic on my blog I love Snow Angels!!!

The maestro took several pics of the little sentiment but the light was so dismal and the flash just made it glare so he had to leave it like this.  Bless him, he honestly did his best for me as usual.  This is for him for Christmas but as it is only February I know he won't remember it by the end of the year ('cos of all the cards he has to photograph for me!!)

I've never used pink and red together like this but I thought it worked with the pink in the scarf and on the boots - I might have changed James into a girl though!!   Oooops!

Ingredients

Image - LOTV 'James - Snow Angel' digi
7" x 7" White linen texture card - Anna Marie Designs
Presscut - Crafts Too Dies - Heart Nesting dies
Presscut - Crafts Too Dies - Round Nesting dies
Ebay - Demiawaking - 'Snowflake Dies'
Craft. Comp. Signature Coll. - 'Festive Wonder' Embossing Folder
Marianne Designs - 'Snow' (DF3410) Embossing Folder
Sentiment -Craft. Comp. 'Christmas in Moonbeam Meadow' stamp
DecoArt - Glamour Dust glitter
Craft. Comp. - Stick and Stay
Stardust Stickles
Copic markers
Flowersoft - 'Polar White'
Adhesive corner beads - The Range

Although you can't really tell from the picture, I've put the sentiments and the heart focal point on the card with 3mm sticky foam tape so that it does stand out - in real life that is!!

I hope you can enter our challenge this month - it doesn't close for another two weeks yet so you have plenty of time.

The prize for the lucky winner is -

Thank you so much for stopping by - why don't you pop over to the CCAYR site and check out the work of my teamies - you can never start too early for Christmas - :)

Anyway I must be off and start dinner - take good care of yourselves and as I usually say - please keep warm, especially when you take your furbabies for walkies!

Big hugs to you all.
