CHRISTMAS CARDS ALL YEAR ROUND CHALLENGE - JULY - CHRISTMAS/HOLIDAY

Hi there everyone - well I'm really chuffed to tell you that the CCAYR challenge blog is up and running again.  Our lovely leader Tracey Orchard has handed over the reins to the wonderful Deanne Saunders who was the absolute original creator yonks ago in 2008!

Anyway here's my card for the DT this month and our theme is Anything Christmas/Festive Holiday related - what a great way to restart a challenge.

 Sorry I haven't given you the ingredients but I'm tryping this (literally) whilst I'm on me jollies.  I wanted to schedule it yesterday but the maestro had loaded the pic onto my laptop at home and not onto this one sooooooooooo I'm a few hours late!

 

We are having a fab time with lots of giggles as usual, we've been married forever and we know exactly what sets us off so we have to avert our eyes if something is comical because if we look at each other then that's it - total collapse!   Had a gorgeous choccy cake for my birthday on Tuesday ... and we ate it all too! 

 

 

Oh well must be off, time and tide wait for no man!  Thinking of going kayaking - yup and the moon is made of Stilton!!!!!  Don't forget to enter the CCAYR challenge - you know you'll be grateful come December when you have a nice little stash of cards waiting to be sent out.

OSAAT DT CHALLENGE - NO 265 - ANYTHING GOES WITH FLOWERS

Hi there everyone - this is such a quick post 'cos I'm so behind with 'things' after hurting my wrist.  Anyway here's my post for OSAAT, our theme is Flowers and as almost everyone loves anything floral I do hope you can join in.

This is the first image I managed to colour after my argument with slippy grass so please don't look too closely 'cos I couldn't blend for toffee!

CRAFTY CALENDAR - JUNE - FATHER'S DAY/FOR A MALE

Hi there - I hope you are all well out there and enjoying this gorgeous hot weather we're having.   Ho hum - it's nice to dream!  I dare say some of you are having good weather but it's been cold and raining here - even wetter on Wednesday when we went swimming - we both did 20 lengths and could have gone on longer but we had to get home for a parcel delivery!   Yup we're sticking to that one.

OSAAT DT CHALLENGE - NO 263 - ANYTHING GOES WITH STITCHING (REAL OR FAUX)

Afternoon all - been swimming again this week and managed 10 - yes 10 - lengths!   Somewhat better than the few feet I managed the first time we went.  Taking to it like a duck to the proverbial!   Anyway better get on with posting my next card for the OSAAT DT.  This time we have a theme of AG with stitching (real or faux - lurve that word)!  I thought I'd make a Get Well card for my 'stash' - they're the type of card you want quickly but never have any to hand ... well at least I don't - lol!

This image is called 'Get Well Soon' and it's by Digi Blessings - he seems to be a tad miserable poor soul!  I think this one could be for any age though and might bring a smile to a glum face! lol.

THROUGH THE PURPLE HAZE - CHALLENGE NO 102 - UNDER THE WATER

Good morning everyone - well the week started out really well and then ... down came the rain .... AGAIN!  Mind you it didn't bother us 'cos we went swimming again and I managed to do a few lengths - well 3 or 4 to be precise but that was better than the couple of feet I managed last time!  It was much quieter at the lunch-time session - those 50 + peeps last time were very rowdy!  LOL - only joking!  Graham says I'll be swimming like a dolphin in no time - I don't see it meself 'cos I can't put me head under water!  Oh well I'll just have to keep trying.  I'm hoping and keeping my fingers crossed that it isn't as wet in Eskdale where our lovely friends Sue J, hubby Paul and Ollie and Woody are staying.  Keep your wellies dry Soooooz!

CRAFTY CALENDAR - MAY - THINGS WITH WINGS!

Good morning fellow bloggers.  I'm sorry that this is a little late it's because I have been card making for my lovely neighbour's mum.  The theme at the Crafty Calendar challenge this month is 'Things with Wings' and I just had to get this one coloured because I love the image.  My little bug didn't have any wings so I used a couple of die cuts and popped them onto a coat hanger ready for him to wear when he goes out to 'partay'!!!  My brain sure works in mysterious ways.  As always our challenge runs for a month so you have plenty of time to make a card or two and we would love to see your 'winged' creations.

I've used my wonderful foil machine for the sentiment but the lighting was awful and the holographic foil just didn't photograph very well so the maestro did a close up to help you see it properly.
